What We Do

Bridges To Hope works consistently to keep the formerly incarcerated population of Lincoln living happy, successful lives—outside of prison. Even long after serving their time, many issues plaguing the formerly incarcerated can cause them to recidivate, including addictions, mental illness, and lack of community support. Stigma and fear can also complicate the rehabilitation process.

At Bridges To Hope, we provide the guidance the formerly incarcerated need in the form of a new life. We provide physical, mental, and emotional resources that fight the core issues that cause people to recidivate. Housing is an integral part of our mission. We provide tangible items, referrals, and other needed resources that expand community support and encouragement. We also work closely with many other organizations that provide mentoring, job training, leadership skill training, and other key elements of a successful life after incarceration.

We work tirelessly to provide tangible items, referrals, and other desperately needed resources that expand community support and encouragement to these individuals and their loved ones. We also work closely with other local organizations that provide mentoring, job training, leadership skill training, and other key elements of a successful rehabilitation. Bridges To Hope is proud to be a first point of contact for the formerly incarcerated population of Nebraska. Some leave prison without anyone left in their lives to support them. We are the proud friends and family these individuals can count on.
