As we continue to face times of uncertainty due to COVID-19, I would like to inform you that beginning Monday, March 23, Bridges to Hope will provide limited services to those being released from incarceration who are in dire need of clothing & personal hygiene products.
This means that either the person in need or a representative must call Bridges to Hope at 402.420.5696 and make specific arrangements for items needed. A Bridges to Hope staff member will pick out 2 complete outfits along with necessary hygiene products and have a care package ready for pick up at a designated time. The person picking up the care package must be free of any symptoms of the coronavirus. This process will limit exposure while still allowing us to fulfill our mission of serving those in need.
We would also like to remind any of you who have Donor Advised Funds or Thrivent Choice Dollars that now would be the perfect opportunity for you to help out your favorite nonprofit organization. Most nonprofits rely heavily on community support in order to serve those in need, especially during times such as these.
We THANK YOU for your understanding and continued support and look forward to the day we can get back to business as usual.
Stay Safe & Healthy,
Hours of Operation
Monday & Tuesday 1:00 - 4:00
Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday 9:00 - Noon
Bridges to Hope is a service to men and women soon to be or recently released from incarceration and are making the transition to a productive life outside of the cell. A first step back into the community requires a place to live and items to set up a home. Bridges to Hope provides basic household furnishings, clothing and personal hygiene products at no cost to the men and women we serve.
