Lip Sync Details
Bridges to Hope is hosting a Lip Sync Contest, August 24th from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at Screamers Family Restaurant located at 803 Q St., Suite 150, Lincoln, NE 68508.
• Limit 12 contestants
• Entry fee $75 (includes dinner)
• Prize payouts
➢ 1st place = $1,000
➢ 2nd place = $650
➢ 3rd place = $350
• Judged by 3 categories
➢ Costume
➢ Performance
➢ Accuracy
• 3 Local “Celebrity” Judges will select 6 finalists
• Audience each gets one vote for their favorite finalist (included with their ticket price)
• Whomever gets the most votes wins 1st then 2nd then 3rd
VENUE: Screamers Family Restaurant, 803 Q St., Suite 150 Capacity is 100 people so reserve your spot early!
TICKETS: includes buffet dinner and one vote each person

• Cash Bar - 5% of sales donated to Bridges to Hope
PRIZES:
• Raffle Prize – 4 night, 5 day stay at Ocean Front Myrtle Beach Condo! $20/ea or 6 for $100
• Silent Auction – silent auction for “SECOND CHANCE CHAIRS”! Paradigm Picture has partnered
with 12 local artists to uniquely paint and decorate old chairs donated by Bud’s Thrift Shoppe.
• 50/50 Raffle $10 ea.
JUDGING: For a $1,000 prize you had better make sure you got your game on! We will be judging on 3 categories:
costume = how closely do you represent the musician you chose
performance = how closely are you mimicking the actual artist
accuracy = how well do you really know the lyrics
JUDGING: The 3 judges will judge the first round of all 12 contestants using a rating scale of 1- 5
points for Costume and Performance and 1-10 points for Accuracy (20 pts would be a perfect
score from individual judges and 60 points would be a perfect score from all 3 judges).
The top 6 contestants will move on to the finals. The audience will judge the finalists by simply
selecting their favorite performer. The finalist with the most votes from the audience will be first
place, winning $1,000 the next highest votes will be second place, winning $650 and the next
highest votes will be third place, winning $350.
